Caribbean Challenge schedule revised after Purdue cancellation

In light of Purdue University’s decision to cancel travel to the Caribbean Challenge in Mexico, tournament officials revised the schedule. The team made the choice to stay home Tuesday night after Drey Mingo was hospitalized with meningitis.

“Our prayers are with the player, Purdue, teammates, and family members during this difficult time,” said Dave King, CEO of Triple Crown Sports, the producers of the Caribbean Challenge. “We appreciate their complete openness in letting us know as much information as possible in making the best decision for all those involved.  We also want to thank Montana and Florida Gulf Coast for agreeing so quickly to play each other to fill in for Purdue.”
