NCAA approves three-point line rule change

Remember that proposal to move the women’s line back? It’s been approved:

In women’s basketball, the 3-point line will be moved back to 20 feet, 9 inches, which is the standard in the men’s game. That means those floors that have been home to both men’s and women’s games no longer must contain multiple 3-point lines.

This is supposedly to encourage more inside play, but is this fair?
