No. 13 Tennessee got revenge on No. 7 Kentucky Monday night handing the Wildcats their largest defeat of the season, 91-54. The game was part of the “Play 4 Kay” initiative to raise awareness for breast cancer in honor of the late Kay Yow. The Lady Vols are 18-7 overall and 9-3 in the SEC. Kentucky lost its second game in a row and is now 21-4 overall and 10-2 in the SEC. Meighan Simmons led the Lady Vols with a season-high 25 points. Shekinna Stricklen scored 18. Glory Johnson added 10 and pulled down seven rebounds.
Simmons was selected as the player of the game.
