After helping her Australian national team win a bronze medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics, Tulsa Shock center Elizabeth Cambage will return to Tulsa on Monday, August 27 according to team president Steve Swetoha. She is expected to be in uniform on August 30 in a home contest against the Los Angeles Sparks.

The Shock are 3-15 and currently in last place in the Western Conference with the worst record in the league. Cambage missed the first part of the season to train with her national team. She became the first female basketball player to dunk in an Olympic game in a preliminary round August 3 match against Russia. The feat earned her the nickname “Slambage.”

The WNBA resumes play today after an Olympic break with three games on the slate:

  • Connecticut at New York, 7 p.m. ET, MSG/NBA TV/Live Access
  • Washington at Indiana 7 p.m. ET, Live Access
