Griner, Delle Donne and Diggins unanimous selections for 2012-13 AP preseason women’s All-America team

The Associated Press announced its 2012-13 preseason women’s All-America team Tuesday. A panel of 40 media members who work or freelance for publications that subscribe to the news service voted on the team. Seniors Brittney Griner (Baylor), Elena Delle Donne (Delaware) and Skylar Diggins (Notre Dame) received unanimous votes. Stanford junior Chiney Ogwumike was third in the voting with 23 ballots. Juniors Odyssey Sims (Baylor) and Alyssa Thomas (Maryland) tied for the fifth spot.
