BERKELEY, Calif. – In a rematch of the 2013 NCAA Final Four national semifinal, No. 10 Louisville faces No. 24 California in at 5 p.m. ET at Haas Pavilion. It will be the first meeting between the two teams since the Cardinals knocked off the Golden Bears 64-57 in that semifinal.

Louisville enters Sunday’s game with a 10-1 record after knocking off Old Dominion (100-46) and Grand Canyon (65-51) last week. The only loss came to rival and then-No. 13 Kentucky. Four players average double figures scoring for the Cardinals, including Bay Area native Mariya Moore (14.4 ppg) and Myisha Hines-Allen (14.5 ppg). Sara Hammond leads the team in rebounds at 6.6 to go with her 11.2 ppg. As a team, Louisville shoots .355 from the 3-point line and averages 84 points per game while limiting opponents to 56 points per game.

The Golden Bears, who had nine days to prepare for Louisville, own a 7-2 mark after falling 58-56 at Long Beach State in overtime on Dec. 13. Cal scored just 21 points in the opening half, connecting on 10-of-28 shots (35.7 percent). The Golden Bears scored 38 points in the paint.

Brittany Boyd (21 points, 15 rebounds) and Gabby Green (10 points, 12 rebounds) each produced double-doubles in the loss, with Boyd also tallying seven assists. Mikayla Cowling added 12 points. Overall, Reshanda Gray leads Cal with 19.2 points per game, connecting on 67 percent of her shots.

Cal sophomore Courtney Range sustained a left knee sprain in the Golden Bears’ game at Kansas on Dec. 7. She will continue to be evaluated throughout the rehab process and is expected to return in the 2014-15 season.
