DeLisha Milton-Jones sets WNBA record for career games played, passes Tina Thompson

Atlanta Dream forward DeLisha Milton-Jones broke the WNBA for record career games played Friday night during a contest at Indiana. The Dream beat the Fever 90-84.

Jones went into the game tied with Tina Thompson for the career mark at 496. The 17-year WNBA veteran is currently the oldest player active in the WNBA at 40.

Her career includes two WNBA titles (with Los Angeles in 2001, 2002) and two All-Star selections (2000, 2007). She is one of six players all-time with over 5,000 points and 2,400 rebounds. She ranks fourth all-time in WNBA history in steals, sixth in career rebounds and ninth in points.
