ESPN announced that game one of the 2015 WNBA Finals , which aired October 4 on ABC, was the most-watched game one ever on ABC and the most-watched game one on ABC/ESPN networks since 1998. The contest between the Indiana Fever and the Minnesota Lynx saw a +2 percent increase in viewership, with 571,000 viewers vs. 558,000 viewers in 2014, according to Nielsen.

Coverage of the 2015 Finals resumes Friday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
