In Oregon’s 104-74 win over San Jose State Monday night in Eugene, senior forward Jillian Alleyne set a new Pac-12 record for consecutive double-doubles with 22. Only Courtney Paris (Oklahoma) and Artemis Spanous (Robert Morris) have earned more double-doubles in a row.

Alleyne had a previous streak of 21 set between her sophomore and junior seasons. Her current double-double run started on Jan. 11, 2015 with 16 points and 18 rebounds against Oregon State. Monday night the Fontana, Calif. native scored 26 points and pulled down 20 rebounds. She now has a career 75 double-doubles, second all-time in program history. Former Oregon coach and player Bev Smith holds the program career record with 88 (pre-NCAA era). She was courtside at the game. In the NCAA era, the Pac-12 record is 85, held by Chiney Ogwumike (Stanford). Coming into the contest vs. the Spartans, Alleyne was averaging 15.2 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per contest.

Lexi Bando also had a record night for the Ducks. She led the team with 35 points, a career-high for the sophomore guard. Lexi Peterson added 12 points and Liz Brenner contributed 11 points and five rebounds.

The win marked Oregon’s sixth straight victory. The Ducks have not started a season 6-0 since 2011-12.

Dezz Ramos led SJSU with 22 points and five assists. Myzhanique Ladd was also in double figures for the Spartans with 11 points. SJSU is coached by former Oregon guard Jamie Craighead.
