From the team:

The Minnesota Lynx today finalized the team’s 2016 training camp roster by signing forward Kaili McLaren and guard Sydney Wallace. Minnesota’s roster now stands at 16 players.

McLaren, a 6-2 forward, most recently played for Urla Eda in the TKBL (Turkey’s 2nd division) in 2014-15, tallying 15.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 13 contests. She played collegiately at Connecticut, averaging 3.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 51.3% in four seasons (144 games) with the Huskies. McLaren was a teammate of Maya Moore and Renee Montgomery on UConn’s 2009 NCAA Championship team and again with Moore on the 2010 title squad.

Wallace, a 5-8 guard from Georgia Tech, finished her collegiate career in 2014-15 with 1,001 points. She led the Yellow Jackets to the NCAA’s Sweet 16 as a freshman in 2012 by averaging 27.7 ppg in three tournament outings and added 20 points in Georgia Tech’s trip to the 2014 NCAA Tournament. Before suffering a season-ending knee injury in December of her senior year, Wallace was averaging 13.1 points per game. She finished with career averages of 9.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 106 contests.
