Ohio State: Sophomore post Theresa Ekhelar to leave program

Sophomore Theresa Ekhelar has decided to leave The Ohio State University, head coach Kevin McGuff announced on Tuesday.

A native of Woodbridge, N.J., Ekhelar played in a total of nine games at Ohio State including three this season. She had a career average of 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per game and scored a career-best six points against LIU Brooklyn on Nov. 19 of this season.

Last season the 6-6 post only played in six games, scoring eight points and grabbing six rebounds. She did not play in the second half of the season in order to focus on her academics.
