The committee, which made top 10 announcements three times last season, increased the number to include the top 16 this year to correspond with those seeds having the opportunity to host first- and second-round games during the upcoming championship. Stanford will not able to host early rounds due to a conflict with the Pac-12 gymnastics championship taking place at Maples Pavilion at the same time.

Additional reveals of the top 16 will take place Monday, Feb. 6 and Monday Feb. 20. The three announcements will have no bearing on the final bracket that will be revealed on Selection Monday at 7 p.m. ET March 13 on ESPN.
