The Connecticut Sun traded Jordan Hooper to the Atlanta Dream in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. Hooper was signed to a training camp contract by the Sun after she was waived by the Dallas Wings on May 13. She played six minutes in three games for Connecticut.

Hooper was the 13th overall pick in the second round of the 2014 WNBA Draft. She averaged 3.7 points and 1.2 rebounds while playing 9.1 minutes per game last season with the Wings.
