Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner recorded her first dunk of the 2017 WNBA season in an 85-82 win at Seattle Friday evening. The dunk came with 8:35 remaining in the fourth quarter. It was Griner’s ninth career regular-season dunk.

The rest of the WNBA has combined for six dunks in league history. She has also dunked once in the WNBA Playoffs (WNBA Western Conference Finals Game 2 at Los Angeles on August 24, 2014) and twice in WNBA All-Star Games (2014 All-Star Game on July 19, 2014 in Phoenix and in 2015 WNBA All-Star Game on July 25, 2015 in Connecticut).
