Atlanta Dream signs guard Darxia Morris

The Atlanta Dream signed Darxia Morris Monday. The guard originally joined the Dream on a training camp contract in February 2017. She was the final cut on the day prior to the regular season.

“Darxia is a scoring point guard that has ability to stretch the defense and is a facilitator that can create shots for her teammates,” associate head coach Karleen Thompson said. “She is strong defensive presence at the guard position.”

Morris signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Sparks before the start of the 2014 WNBA season. The Dream has also announced the activation of Sancho Lyttle, who returned to the team after helping lead Spain to the 2017 FIBA EuroBasket title.
