The Sooners have four active players scoring in double digits. Junior point guard Danielle Robinson leads the way with 15.9 a contest and leads the team in assists with 76. She is followed by senior forward/guard Nyeshia Stevenson’s 13.9 an outing. Junior post Abi Olajuwon manages 12.4 a contest and Amanda Thompson, a senior forward, scores 11.8 a game and is the squad’s top rebounder at 9.3 a contest.

With her dramatic improvement since the beginning of the season, Brittney Griner has become a National Player of the Year, Big 12 Player of the Year and All-America candidate.

Oklahoma leads the series 22-10 while BU head coach Kim Mulkey is 6-15 versus the Sooners, 3-6 in Waco.

Baylor’s Melissa Jones will not play. She is out with a stress injury to her leg. Mulkey on Jones’ injury after Saturday’s loss to Oklahoma State: “Melissa Jones has a stress reaction and we’re being very cautious because we don’t want to turn it into a stress fracture. I’ll sit her out the entire Big 12 if I have to so I can have her for the playoffs.”
