ESPN 24-hours of college basketball kickoff includes Baylor vs. UConn

Baylor plays Connecticut in the sole women’s matchup of the 20 live college basketball games featured in ESPN’s third annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon on Tuesday, November 16. Coverage will be spread across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3.com.

The games will tip off every two hours beginning at midnight ET with a men’s game, Miami at Memphis. The two-time defending  national champion UConn Huskies take on the Baylor Lady Bears at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com. UConn enters the season with a 78-game winning streak. They defeated Baylor 70-50 in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament last season.

Baylor returns four starters: guards Kelli Griffin, Melissa Jones and Shanay Washington and All-American post Brittney Griner. The Lady Bears finished the year with a 27-10 record.
