Swin Cash to receive an honorary degree from Washington & Jefferson College

Washington & Jefferson College is set to award Seattle Storm forward Swin Cash with an honorary degree at its annual Commencement ceremony on May 21. Cash will be lauded along with three other women who have “made lifelong commitments to science, community service, history and human rights.”

“W&J is honored to recognize the accomplishments of these great women,” said W&J President Tori Haring-Smith, Ph.D.

Established in 1781, the school is a private, liberal arts college in Washington, Pennsylvania. It is approximately 30 miles southwest of Cash’s hometown of McKeesport.
