The Atlanta Dream are back in the WNBA Finals for a second straight year, and metro Atlanta pro sports teams are stepping up to support the team’s quest for a championship.

The Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks have purchased a total of 1,500 upper level tickets to support the Dream’s title run on Friday night when the series heads to Atlanta. The Dream hosts Maya Moore and the Minnesota Lynx in Game 3 of the 2011 WNBA Finals on Friday night at 8 p.m.

The tickets for Game 3 are available to fans at no cost on a first come, first serve basis by calling the Atlanta Dream office at (877) 977-7729, starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday. A maximum of four tickets is allowed per request.

"We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from our fellow professional franchises," said Atlanta Dream owners Mary Brock and Kelly Loeffler. "They understand the significance of the Dream’s title run to the city of Atlanta, and know that it will take a packed arena and the support of every fan on Friday night for Game 3 of the WNBA Finals."

"Competing for a WNBA Championship for the second straight year is a great accomplishment for the Atlanta Dream," said Bob Williams, President, Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena. "We are proud to support their efforts and know Dream fans will rock Philips Arena Friday night."

"We are proud and excited for the Dream to be in the Finals for the second year in a row," said Braves Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing Derek Schiller. "We wish them luck and appreciate and value their role in the sports community of Atlanta."

The Dream and Falcons are also partnering for a special ticket promotion for Sunday’s WNBA Finals Game 4 (if necessary). The Dream plays at 4 p.m. at Philips Arena and the Falcons are in action at 8:20 p.m. against the Green Bay Packers at the Georgia Dome. Fans that show their Atlanta Falcons ticket at the Philips Arena box office will receive a buy one, get one free ticket offer for Game 4.

"Sunday will be a great opportunity for our city to rally behind its pro sports franchises," said Atlanta Falcons President & CEO Rich McKay. "We wanted to encourage fans to support both teams as they represent Atlanta in front of a national audience."
