Cox Communications to broadcast three Tulsa Shock road games during the 2013 season

Cox Communications will broadcast three Tulsa Shock road games during the 2013 season.

  • Atlanta Dream, Saturday, May 25 at 6 p.m. CT
  • San Antonio Silver Stars, Sunday, August 4 at 3:30 p.m. CT
  • Phoenix Mercury, Sunday, August 11 at 5 p.m. CT

The games will air on the Cox Channel (channel 3 in SD, channel 703 in HD).

“We are excited and pleased about renewing our broadcast partnership with Cox Communications for the upcoming season,” said Steve Swetoha. “This relationship will allow us in continuing to grow our brand within the Tulsa market and surrounding areas.”

“Cox is committed to providing valuable local programming to our customers,” said Christine Martin, director of communications. “By partnering with the Tulsa Shock to bring live coverage of their away games, we are providing Oklahoma WNBA fans the opportunity to see the games that matter to them at no additional cost.”

The Shock begins its regular season schedule Saturday, May 25 hosting the Atlanta Dream. The team plays three preseason games beginning with a road contest vs. the Dream on Thursday, May 9.
