Welcome to the 2013 season of “The Shimmy and Cheryl Show” with University of Nebraska assistant coach Shimmy Gray-Miller and Cheryl Coward, founder of Hoopfeed.com.

We begin the season with a recap of the first several games and as always give our predictions for the upcoming week. Shimmy has some great perspective on the game as one of her former Nebraska players, Lindsey Moore, was drafted in the first round by the Minnesota Lynx and saw playing time this week.

  • I think that EDD went to a team that was ready to play. Tulsa is a new team and Skylar is getting the hort end of the stick. She is the point guard and a new starting point guard at that. Now Phoenix, I just can't. BG was the leading scorer for the team, the leading rebounder etc. Diana IS the Franchise Player period. Diana has to make this team go not BG. Diana IS the MVP and BG WILL become the franchise and MVP. Griner will take over but Diana has to set the tone.
