Video: Brittney Griner’s second dunk of the season

Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner recorded the fourth dunk of her two-year career Tuesday night in a 90-78 win over Washington. The dunk came with 7:59 left in the fourth quarter and was her second slam of the season (the first: July 6 at Los Angeles).

Griner on her dunk: “I knew I was going to go up. I went up… and I saw my hand above the rim, so I said ‘Alright, might as well dunk it…’ It got me pumped up. I was ready to go.”

Griner has four of the 10 dunks in WNBA history and finished last night’s game with 16 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
