San Antonio Stars to play 2015 home games at Freeman Coliseum

The San Antonio Stars announced today that they will play their home games for the 2015 season at the recently renovated Freeman Coliseum due to major renovations at the AT&T Center that will take place during the summer of 2015. Located adjacent to AT&T Center, the historic coliseum recently completed a $15.5 million renovation, which included all-new seating, as well as enhancements to the air conditioning, main entryway, plaza, concourses, concessions and infrastructure. The arena has a capacity of 9,000 for basketball.

Freeman Coliseum is a community owned sports and entertainment venue. Built in 1949, it has hosted a wide variety of events rodeos concerts, trade shows, motor sports, circus, bull riding, hockey, boxing and wrestling.
