The Minnesota Lynx survived a late-game rally to beat the Los Angeles Sparks 67-65 in the first game of the Western conference semifinal series between the two teams. Maya Moore had a career playoff high of 33 points to lead her team. The three-game series resumes Sunday in Los Angeles.
