Texas A&M suspends Shlonte Allen and Courtney Williams before NCAA opener

Texas A&M women’s basketball junior guard Shlonte Allen and senior guard/forward Courtney Williams have been suspended indefinitely, beginning with today’s game against Missouri State, for a violation of team rules. They are eligible to practice with the team while suspended.

Williams is a starter that averages 12.5 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per contest. Allen is a reserve and averages 2.2 points per game.

The Aggies are hosting first and second round games of the NCAA tournament.
