San Antonio Stars waive Danielle Adams

Published on April 29, 2016

From the Stars:

The San Antonio Stars today announced that the team has waived Danielle Adams.

“We would like to thank Danielle for her five years with the Stars organization and wish her the best in the future,” said head coach Dan Hughes.

In five seasons with the Stars, Adams averaged 11.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 20.9 minutes.

The Stars open the 2016 season at home on Saturday, May 14 against the Atlanta Dream. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. (CST) at the AT&T Center.

Last season Adams was suspended three games for violating the terms of the WNBA anti-drug policy.
