Video: Stanford jubilant after win over Notre Dame in Elite Eight

Stanford (32-5), the No. 2 seed in the Lexington Region of the NCAA Tournament, edged the No. 1 seed Notre Dame 76-75 Sunday  afternoon in the Elite Eight. The Cardinal now head to the Final Four in Dallas while Notre Dame (33-4) heads home.

It will be the 13th trip to the national semifinals for Stanford. The team hopes to bring home a third national championship for the program under head coach Tara VanDerveer.

Brittany McPhee led Stanford with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists. Alanna Smith and Karlie Samuelson were also in double figures with 15 points each. Smith added seven rebounds. Erica McCall had 11 rebounds to go along with her nine points.
