Three-point Contest and Skills Challenge Participants

The 2019 WNBA All-Star Game captains Elena Delle Donne of the Washington Mystics and A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces selected the rosters for the event Tuesday night.

Delle Donne selected the Phoenix Mercury’s Brittney Griner with the first overall pick. Wilson chose the Los Angeles Sparks’ Chelsea Gray with the No. 2 overall pick.

The All-Star Game, featuring Team Delle Donne vs. Team Wilson, is set for Saturday, July 27 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, home of the Aces. The game will be televised live by ABC at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Delle Donne and Wilson drafted teams from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves, making picks without regard to a player’s conference affiliation or position.

The captains selected reserves in the second round. That group includes the Minnesota Lynx’s Napheesa Collier, named by WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert to replace the injured Wilson.
