UConn, South Carolina, Stanford and Louisville are No. 1 seeds in the NCAA’s first 2021 top-16 reveal

UConn, South Carolina, Stanford, and Louisville are top seeds in the NCAA’s first top-16 reveal, a prediction of how the top teams would fare in the 2021 championship bracket if the season ended today. Texas A&M, NC State, Maryland, and Arizona tabbed as the No. 2 seeds.

The NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee made the selections. The committee also picked region assignments for all 16 seeds. The second and final reveal is set for Monday, March 1 at halftime of the Baylor-Texas game on ESPN2.

The announcement of the 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship 64-team bracket is set for Monday, March 15 during the ESPN Selection Show (7 p.m. ET).
