Coaches all a-Twitter to begin official practices, college preview roundup

Since Twitter took women’s basketball by storm this past spring many college coaches filled their Twitter pages with accounts of summer recruiting updates. But now that the official start date of fall practice is here, postings are dominated by exclamations of excitement and joy in anticipation of the beginning of the 2009-10 season.

Pat Summitt indicated via Twitter that she was unable to sleep due to the anticipation:
