Mercedes Russell: emerging from under the radar

Mercedes Russell makes a shot in the first half of play yesterday.

I got a chance to see the Springfield, Oregon prep star – whom I wrote about in March – play in person yesterday at the West Coast Premier Spring Invitational.

Impressed isn’t the word. She’s amazing for her age, in skill and poise.
