WNBA viewership up on ESPN

ESPN2 had its most viewed WNBA regular season since 2005, averaging 270,000 viewers, up five percent over last year (258,000 viewers) according to figures released this week.

ESPN’s coverage of the 2011 WNBA postseason, including the Eastern and Western Conference Semifinals, Conference Finals and exclusive presentation of the WNBA Finals begins Thursday, Sept. 15.
