The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury re-signed reserve forward Mistie Bass.

“Players who do the little things on the floor can sometimes have big impacts, and Mistie Bass is one of those players,” said Mercury general manager JimPitman.  “Her ability and willingness to set screens, defend and rebound add an element of toughness that absolutely will be necessary in our quest for a fourth WNBA title.  We are excited to have her back.”

Bass, a 2014 WNBA Champion with the Mercury, has spent the last two seasons of her nine-year WNBA career with Phoenix. Bass has appeared in 19 career playoff games, including all 12 Mercury playoff games during her two-year career with Phoenix.

A 2006 graduate of Duke University, Bass has played for Houston (2006 – 2008), Chicago (2009 – 2010), Connecticut (2012 – 2013) and Phoenix as a professional.
