Tournaments scheduled in Puerto Rico moved to Daytona and Las Vegas due to concerns over Zika virus

The 2016 San Juan Shootout held during Thanksgiving weekend and the Puerto Rico Classic scheduled for Dec. 19-21 have been moved to other locations due to concerns over the Zika virus in the U.S. commonwealth island.

The San Juan shootout will take place in Dayton Beach, Florida. The San Juan Shootout has been moved to the South Point Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“This is not an easy decision for us in light of our decades of relationships with our Puerto Rican partners,” said Sport Tours President Lee Frederick, organizer of the San Juan Shootout. “However, we understand it is what the universities want at this time.”
