Atlanta Dream waived center Rachel Hollivay and guard Brianna Kiesel; Sancho Lyttle to return after EuroBasket

The Atlanta Dream waived center Rachel Hollivay and guard Brianna Kiesel. Veteran forward Sancho Lyttle will return to the team this week. Lyttle has been temporarily suspended while playing overseas for Spain in the FIBA EuroBasket Championship. Spain defeated France 71-55 on Sunday to win the title.

Lyttle had 19 points and eight rebounds in the final vs. France. She averaged 14.3 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per contest during the tournament.

Hollivay, who was in her second season with the Dream, played in seven games and started one. The 6-4 center out of Rutgers averaged 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds. Kiesel, a 5-7 guard out of Pittsburgh, played in nine games in her first season Atlanta, averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 assists per game.
