While the top five teams in this week’s Sport Tours International/Hoopfeed Top 25 Poll remained the same, there was a lot of movement in the bottom of half of the top ten as well as some dropouts. Oregon, Baylor, Stanford, UConn and South Carolina hold steady at the top.

No. 6 Oregon State moved up two spots after a week where the Beavers continued their winning ways to move to 5-0. Mississippi State advanced a spot after taking down Marquette on the road. While Louisville did not lose any games, the strong performances of other teams including Mississippi State led to the Cardinals falling two spots in the top ten.

NC State beat a tough West Coast Conference team, Saint Mary’s, on a road trip to Moraga, California. The Wolfpack moved to 5-0, the seventh straight 5-0 start for the program.

DePaul had a good week, beating Miami 89-83 and moving up three places to No. 16. Miami dropped two places to No. 18. This week’s No. 20, Syracuse, had a tough week as the Orange fell three places after losing to No. 1 Oregon.

Newcomers in the poll include West Virginia, Gonzaga and Missouri State. West Virginia remains undefeated at 4-0. Arizona is off to the program’s best start in 20 years after defeating Montana 77-42 on the road Sunday. Losses knocked Arizona State, Arkansas and Michigan out of the poll.

Other teams that received votes: Arizona State, Arkansas, Notre Dame, South Dakota, Minnesota, Drake, California, and Northwestern.
