WNBA season set to start July 25 after delayed beginning

The WNBA announced today that the season is scheduled to start Saturday, July 25, in Florida. Teams are in an isolated setting at IMG Academy in Bradenton due to the coronavirus pandemic. The original start date was May 15. In March, the league’s commissioner announced a delay of the season’s beginning. The league will play a 22-game slate.
