Lynx Seek Repeat, Host Fever in Commissioner’s Cup Championship Battle

The Minnesota Lynx will host the Indiana Fever, July 1, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. ET at Target Center in the Commissioner’s Cup Championship. The game will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

The Lynx enter the championship game with a league-leading 14-2 overall record, boasting a perfect 8-0 record at home. They secured their spot by finishing with a 5-1 record in the Western Conference portion of the Commissioner’s Cup round-robin. Minnesota is currently on a two-game winning streak and an impressive eight-game home winning streak. Key players for the Lynx include Napheesa Collier, who leads the team with 24.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, and Kayla McBride, averaging 15.8 points. The Lynx will be without guard Karlie Samuelson due to a sprained left midfoot.

The Indiana Fever arrive with an 8-8 overall record, including a 4-4 mark on the road. They earned their place in the final by achieving a 4-1 record in the Eastern Conference Cup games. The Fever’s probable starters feature Kelsey Mitchell, averaging 18.9 points, Aliyah Boston with 15.9 points and 8.2 rebounds, and Natasha Howard contributing 11.2 points and 6.5 rebounds.
