The Oklahoma State family gathered inside Gallagher-Iba Arena to honor the lives of women’s basketball coach Kurt Budke, assistant coach Miranda Serna and alumni Olin & Paula Branstetter. The four were lost on November 17, 2011 in a tragic plane crash.

Among those that spoke at the service were public address announcer Larry Reece, Father Kenneth Harder of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, athletic director Mike Holder, interim head coach Jim Littell, former Cowgirl player Taylor Hardeman and university president Burns Hargis.

The OSU Wind Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Joseph Missal, and OSU Associate Professor of Voice and Director of Opera Studies April Golliver also performed at the service.

Coaches, staff and players from the Big 12 Conference attended the ceremonies as well as many other coaches from other leagues around the country.
