Breanna Stewart and Seattle Storm lead WNBA’s most popular jersey and merchandise lists

Breanna Stewart and the Seattle Storm captured the top spots on the WNBA’s lists of best-selling jerseys and team merchandise, the WNBA announced today.

Based on WNBAStore.com sales since the start of the 2016 regular season, the top-selling jersey list features Stewart’s fellow USA Basketball teammates Elena Delle Donne of the Chicago Sky (No. 3), Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx (No. 4), Brittney Griner of the Phoenix Mercury (No. 6), Diana Taurasi of the Phoenix Mercury (No. 8), Sue Bird of the Seattle Storm (No. 9) and Tamika Catchings of the Indiana Fever (No. 10).

The No.1 pick in the 2016 WNBA Draft, Stewart makes her debut on the list in the midst of a standout rookie season with the Seattle Storm, which grabbed the top spot on the most popular team merchandise list.

Skylar Diggins of the Dallas Wings, Shoni Schimmel of the New York Liberty and Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks complete the list at No. 2, No. 5 and No. 7, respectively.

On Friday, Aug. 26, the WNBA resumes its historic 20th season with the Storm hosting the Sparks.

Friday also tips off the WNBA Super20 sweepstakes, where fans can buy a ticket to a WNBA game and be automatically entered for a chance to win tickets to WNBA All-Star 2017, NBA All-Star 2017, or a grand prize of $20,000.
