Three members added to NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee

The NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee adds three members for 2021-22. Next season, the committee expands to 12 members from 10. The committee extended the terms of two existing members by a year through Aug. 31, 2022:

  • Committee chair: Nina King, deputy athletics director and chief of staff at Duke University
  • Debbie Richardson, senior associate commissioner of the Atlantic 10 Conference

In addition, three members will be added for the upcoming season. The committee replaced five members last summer.

The three members that will join as of Sept. 1, 2021:

  • Amanda Braun, athletics director at Milwaukee
  • Janice Ruggiero, deputy director of athletics and senior woman administrator at New Mexico
  • Lynn Tighe, senior associate athletics director and senior woman administrator at Villanova
